| Online casino sites have developed various ways to advertise themselves over the past couple of years. Because of all the restrictions that online casinos face when it comes to marketing, the methods that have been developed are quite entertaining. For starters, everyone has heard of the online casino that uses extreme methods, such as crashing ceremonies at the winter Olympics to have their name out there. In addition, this same online casino purchases items off of eBay and from celebrities ranging from a grilled cheese sandwich with an imprint of the Virgin Mary all the way to Captain Kirks kidney stones. The fact of the matter is getting your online casino out there is far from easy. You can't exactly show commercials for them, meaning you are not reaching the mass audience that most businesses have the ability to reach. So many sites are looking towards the other side of advertising. Several online casino sites have started using sports as their advertising method. Imagine a NASCAR race without seeing the McDonald's sponsored car and the HSBC sponsored car. In the same fashion, online casino sites have joined forces with soccer teams and snooker players to get their logos on team uniforms. One online casino has even gone so far as to join with a Vegas-based airline. The casino hopes to have their logo on the company's planes by the end of the year. This is terrific advertising as it gets the online casino both in the news and in the skies.
