Online Casino Industry Is 10 Years Old |
| It is well known that gambling first started ages ago. However the industry of the online casino sites has a shorter history and is about 10 years old. With the constant growth of the Internet industry, it was obvious to all that the online casino industry will be very successful, with a lot of money in it, too. However, not all went smoothly for the online casino industry back in the late 90s. It was not sure whether it was legal to gamble in an online casino, what the government would say and many more questions. There are still many problems today regarding online casino industry's legitimacy and licensing. Another problem arising was the fact that back in the early days, the online casino industry was closely associated with the online porn industry. Some of the operators were selling both services, even in a package. Although even nowadays you can still find a little bit of porn-casino action on the web, it is a mere shadow of what most of online casino industry experts predicted back then. |
