Gambling Company Sponsors Championships for Air Guitar |
| Air guitar isn’t often thought of as a talent, sport, or pastime, but Golden Palace, a leading gambling company online found a way to show the world what it means to play air guitar. In the northern Finnish city of Oulu this past weekend, the Air Guitar Championships, which were hosted and sponsored by the gambling company, was the 11th annual championship and drew a wildly enthusiastic crowd of fans and general passersby. He blew the crowd away with his rendition of Jet’s ‘Are you gonna be my girl?’ When asked in an interview what it takes to be the world champion of air guitar, Yosuke coolly replied ‘Japanese Samurai soul’. It seems that this gambling company was able to find the best of the best in this unique and special field of sport.
