Simply another Change for the Online Casino Industry
The online casino industry is facing one of the biggest challenges it has ever encountered. Some people even say that online gambling as we know it is about to drastically change, or –on the pessimistic side- disappear completely. Such dark predictions are uncalled for, and the true is that although a new law against online casino gambling has been accepted in the United States, online gambling is here to stay. The new anti online casino law does not address online casino operators, but rather is aimed at the credit card companies.

Legislators in the United States do not want credit card companies to cooperate with online casino operators, and have outlawed such connections. Credit companies that will accept payments for online casino groups will be breaking the law. This approach is aimed at closing the financial resources of online gambling operators and at breaking the connection between the player and the online casino. Although this creates an unpleasant situation for both players and operators, there are many other methods of paying for online services, and nothing will really change.

Besides, the laws are American, and will only apply for credit companies based in the United States. All companies that operate from outside of the U.S. are not affected by the new legislation. This means that online casino sites can use credit card companies that are based at an offshore location, or even target different audiences –such that are not forced to obey the American code. Either way, the online casino industry is a dynamic and changing industry and always was. This is just another change, and you should wait, as some good might come out of this whole fiasco.
