Online Casino Going Multilingual After New US Law |
| English has always been the main language spoken at the online casino. The fact that online casinos originated in the United States meant that for the major part of the decade that the online casino have been around, English was the dominant language at most of these sites. Many online casinos had already sent feelers out to Asia, Europe and South America – even before the US act was signed – and many have come to the conclusion that their only way to go is global, and that includes moving away from English being the dominant language at their online casino sites. Many online casino sites have translated their content into other languages, or at least the main sections such as game instruction and payment methods. Some online casino sites even have multilingual staff members to man helpdesks, with the notion in mind that their average gamblers are not going to be from English-speaking countries. Globalization is definitely the way of the future – and that includes the internet gambling industry as well. |
