There is something to be said about an online casino site that uses every opportunity in the world to promote themselves. Some may call it cheap marketing ploys, others may call it pure genius. Regardless of where you rank it, you must admit that it does work. There is one online casino sites that is constantly purchasing crazy stuff on eBay, everything from Michael Jackson's "racing license" to an Xbox box with Jesus on it. And as silly as all these purchases may sound, it certainly does get people talking about the online casino.
The most recent online casino marketing ploy was done this past Sunday at the closing ceremonies for the 2006 Torino Olympics. A man ran up on stage during a speech by Valentino Castellani, the Olympic organizing committee chief, and started shouting "passion lives in Torino". This slogan is that of the 2006 Winter Olympics, and certainly doesn't seem to have anything to do with any online casino, except for one thing. The man was wearing a t-shirt with an online casino name emblazoned on it.
It is safe to say that this genius idea, that could have potentially gotten this man shot at for security reasons, did pay off big time for the online casino. Not only did everybody in the audience catch a glimpse of the online casino name, but almost everybody on the globe who were watching the closing ceremonies. This may have truly been the cheapest commercial ever developed. And it certainly did pay for itself a million times over.
