A recent survey by a research firm shows that the American people do not have a problem with online casino gambling. They do not think that the government has a right to interfere if people, (and many people do) want to play blackjack, slots, keno or whatever gambling game, in the privacy of their own home. Online casino gambling is obviously far more popular than the people sitting in the White House realize. The government could lose a lot of voters if they go through with the ban.
Almost 80% of Americans are against the pending bills in Congress to ban online casino gambling. The Americans stand very firm on this issue. They feel that this kind of prohibition mocks their very existence as “free” citizens. By suggesting the banning of online casino gambling, the government is opening a can of worms that would probably be best kept tightly shut.
The poll reaffirms that Americans are overwhelmingly in favor of preserving their freedom to engage in acceptable entertaining and recreational activities from the privacy of their own home, which includes online casino gambling. If somebody wants to play roulette online how will it affect the rest of the country? This is the cry of the American people, who are unmistakably clear in the area of how and when an American adult should be able to engage in private recreational activities, such as online casino gambling. |
