Sportsbook Posts Odds on Barry Bonds
Sportsbook online casino site has issued odds on whether Barry Bonds will be receive a drug related suspension by Major League Baseball in 2006, after the announcement of an upcoming investigation into the alleged use of performance enhancing drugs. Sportsbook is the first sports betting site to issue such odds. With the kick-off of the San Francisco Giants 2006 season a few days behind them, the sportsbook odds makers are expecting an action packed season.

The sportsbook said that the odds now are against the fact that Bonds will be suspended because during the time that the drugs were taken by him, there was no ban on performance enhancing drugs. A spokesperson for Sportsbook said that Major League Baseball has a serious problem on their hands and they could choose to make an example of him. The sportsbook said that the current odds held means that a $100 bet that Bonds will be suspended for drug use would result in a $250 pay out. Players would have to wager $350 on no suspension in order to win $100.

The sportsbook has also issued odds on how many home runs Bonds will hit this season. Sportsbook has also been offering odds on whether Bonds will be voted into the Hall of Fame on his first ballot. Currently, odds makers say no with odds set at 2-3. There seem to be many odds placed on Bonds lately and this player is certainly getting his name in the headlines.
