Online Casino Poker Firm Launches Training Academy |
| While some online casino poker fans would leap at the chance of attending a live poker training school, many individuals lack the time, resources and general inclination. In recognition of this, online casino poker giant Party Gaming has signed a deal with Poker Academy to offer online casino fans a new online training academy. Known as “Poker Trainer” the training software can be downloaded and perused at a player’s own place. Those new to the world of online casino poker can therefore practice and learn as much as possible by studying a range of poker simulations before taking the plunge into the exciting world of online casino poker. The program incorporates research conducted at the University of Alberta, which also attempted to test artificial intelligence against online casino poker applications. The aim of “Poker Trainer” is to help generate a higher level of game awareness and skill among newcomers to online casino poker, while instilling a sense of loyalty to the online casino group responsible for the software. Currently over one hundred different tutorial tools targeting poker fans exist on the market, ranging from computer based learning programs and downloadable training programs to a wide variety of books, magazines and professional blogs. |
